MAX AZEMAR
Max Azemar (Sant Cugat del Vallès, 1996) Graduated in Arts and Design from the Escola Massana (UAB). Student of the Master in Comparative Studies in Literature, Art and Thought (UPF) Currently member of the Grup d'Estudi.

During his bachelor at Escola Massana (Barcelona, 2013-2019) Max has received a scholarship as an assistant in the university communication department and has worked at the Galeria Nogueras Blanchard in Hospitalet del Llobregat. His link with the university community led him to be one of the promoters of the PEDAB collective, which organized the ACADEMIX exhibition in La Virreina, center de la imatge (2017) where participants from the main Art schools of Barcelona met to generate links between different educational centers. At the same time, he participated in the Young Connected Designers Workshop, at ESAD-Saint Etienne (2017) and did an Erasmus + in the Mixed Media department at LUCA School of Arts (Ghent, 2018). During his stay in Belgium, he received a scholarship from the Flanders and Brussels Tourism Office in Spain to work as a correspondent in Brussels. He has been a member of the collective Grup d’Estudi since 2019, awarded with the Grant for the creation of la Caixa and with activities in La Virreina Centre de la Imatge and the gallery Àngels Barcelona. With the thesis "Imagining the tree metaphor from urban arboriculture" he has graduated in the Master of Comparative Studies between Art, Literature and Thought at Pompeu Fabra University (2022.) Lately, he was selected for the award Art Jove Creation 2022 of the Sala d'Art Jove with a project published in the form of a book with the support of Centre d’Art La Panera (2023).
