COLLABORATIONS

We curated an exhibition about performance where theater companies were invited to make visual artworks and visual artists were invited to build a stage for the performances.

As part of the team of the Curatorial Research Program from Fundació Joan Brossa - Centre de les arts lliures, together with Luca Calderó and Salva Ojeda, we were able to use the space as an experimental laboratory at our whims to explore the performativity of things and people. What if the exhibition come out of a kleenex box? How do you perceive a work that is not on a plinth but on a pool dance bar? Why is the only way to listen to an installation is to lock yourself in the toilet? What could a guided tour led by an improvisational subway rapper look like?
